About The Treatment
If possible, avoid blood thinner medication or any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs one week before the treatment as pain relivers can sometimes increase your risk of bleeding and bruising during the treatment.
Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or the use of hair removal creams in the area(s) to be treated for 48 hours prior to the treatment.
Patient should take cold sore preventative medication up to 48 hours prior to the treatment if they are aware that they suffer from cold sores.
During the first 2-4 hours post treatment, please avoid touching or rubbing the treatment area. For the remainder of the day, it is important for the patient to avoid excessive sweating.
The results of the Botox treatment can take up to 14 days to show their true results, However,
patience tend to notice a change within 4-5 days. This us due to the muscles taking time to lose strength and the lines to fade following the Botox treatment.
It is important for the patient to understand to wait for a minimum of 14 days post treatment to assess if they are satisfied with the treatment results.
Botox is a temporary procedure which is recommended by professionals to do often to begin with, at first you may find that your treatment results will last up to 4 months. If you maintain your treatment appointments with frequent visits, the duration of treatment results tends to last longer than 4 months.
Remain upright for at least 2 hours after the procedure. Don’t lie down or bend over. Avoid physical activities like exercise for at least 24 hours after treatment.
