30 days prior to the treatment, the patient must discontinue steroid injections.
14 days prior to the treatment, the patient must discontinue any systematic steroids.
7 days prior to the treatment, the patient must discontinue any blood thinning medication and anti-inflammatory medications.
On the day of the treatment, it is recommended that the patient has a full healthy breakfast and plenty of water.
There may be some mild to moderate pain or discomfort in the injection site which is to be expected as this is a sign that your body is healing and its adjusting to the injection.
The patient must stay hydrated to promote healing.
Unless advised by a physician, the patient must avoid taking any medications post-treatment as it can affect the healing process.
